12 person computer mapping team at Superior Oil; Superintendent
of Geological Developement for Mobil, Developed geological computer
mapping and digital data base system for Mobil.
1979 - 1982
Chevron Geoscience Corporation, Houston,Texas
Geophysicist, Developed computer program for de-convolution of noisy
seismic traces to recover input wavelet signal. Wrote 3D gravity
and magnetic's programs. Wrote computer programs to remove baseline
drift from gas chromatograph program to pick elute time peaks. Wrote
synthetic seismogram program.
1973 - 1979
EXXON/MOBIL (EPRC,Houston,TX) Senior Research Mathematician, Designed
and developed EXXON's first digital LANDSAT image processing system,
Instructed personnel worldwide in the system's use, Developed methods
for detecting subsurface hydrocarbon reservoirs from LANDSAT satellite
images of the surface.s
1967 - Summer
Mathematician/Programmer, Conoco Research Laboratory (Ponca City,Oklahoma),
Wrote systhetic seismogram program.
1962 - 1964
AMOCO (Jackson,MS/Oklahoma City, OK), Geophysicist,
Prepared geophysical maps for drill sites, Worked on project using
synthetic seismograms amplitudes to determine the thickness of geologic
beds from seismic section amplitude anomalies for drill sites.
This was the first petroleum industry use of this method.
