ENT 3193 – Social Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship is about starting and growing mission-driven ventures with meaningful social and/or environmental contributions as well as sustainable financial returns (sometimes referred to as a double or triple bottom line).  The course seeks to mobilize entrepreneurial skills and strategies to craft innovative responses to social needs by combining lectures, readings, discussions, a study project on safe water and sanitation in developing countries, guest speakers, case projects, and student presentations.

ENT 4113 – New Venture Development II
This course provides direction in the pursuit of developing innovative and viable new business opportunities. Building from New Venture Development I (ENT 3113), this course focuses on conducting research on new venture concepts and the development of viable business models for new ventures. 

ENT 4603 – New Venture Development III
This course is focused on developing the critical skills and pieces required to launch a new business opportunity as shown in the development of a business plan.  The process of developing and launching an entrepreneurial venture involves putting together a solid written business plan as well as a quality oral presentation. 

ENT 5934 – Strategic Venture Development
This four-hour course is designed to teach graduate students to conduct research and develop business models in preparing a written business plan for an entrepreneurial venture.  The course involves both written and oral presentations.  

Management 6973 – Entrepreneurship Seminar
This doctoral seminar examines entrepreneurship research at the individual, venture and macro levels of analysis.  The seminar involves the study of the major theories, issues, and contributions in the field of entrepreneurship and to the developing streams of research. Participants are also expected to start advancing their own contributions to research in the field.

Business Plan Competitions
