Outlines should contain at least the following parts:
1. Name and ID# of student
Course number
2. Title for proposed paper: titles that pose questions or state theses are strongly preferred.
3. Summary of contents: this may take the form of a list of major points, a summary paragraph or series of paragraphs, or any other method that effectively conveys the expected content.
4. Bibliography: The bibliography should contain at least three sources in addition to class materials, cited according to a standard style (e.g. MLA or APA). These should be books or articles. Sources that exist only as pages on the World Wide Web (e.g Wikipedia) should not be used.
Outlines may by typed or handwritten. Please submit your outlines, in class, on or before the deadline.
