Tenniel's Alice Welcome to the inaugural version of my OU space, in which you will find my most up-to-date curriculum vitae, a bit about my web and graphic design experience, a modestly sized portfolio, and some links of possible interest. For this first layout, I was compelled to feature an Alice in Wonderland theme. Rather, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I'm a fan of Lewis Carroll's tale, and the Victorian era illustrations by John Tenniel are suitably charming. The navigation features selections from the Wonderland glossary, the meanings of which are hinted at by characters or allegedly confirmed by Carroll himself:

BOROGOVE - an extinct type of parrot that was "a thin shabby-looking bird with its feathers sticking out all round, something like a live mop"
WABE - the grass plot around a sundial and/or the wet side of a hill
FRABJOUS - a possible blend of fair, fabulous, and joyous
GYRE - to twirl about, go 'round and 'round like a gyroscope and/or scratch like a dog
