Biography

Dr. Ding received his B.E. (honors) in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (UMN). His Ph.D. dissertation research work was supported by the Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship from the Graduate School at UMN. He was also the recipient of the Young Investigator Award of the Bioelectromagnetism & Noninvasive Functional Source Imaging of Brain and Heart Conference, 2005, and the Student Paper Competition Award of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Annual Conference, 2005. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Center for Bioengineering at the University of Oklahoma, Norman Oklahoma.

His research interest is in biomedical signal and image processing, bioelectromagnetism, computational neural engineering, and functional neuroimaging. Dr. Ding is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), International Society for Bioelectromagnetism (ISBEM), Organization of Human Brain Mapping (OHBM), and Society for Neuroscience (SfN).

Biography

Ke Liao received his PhD degree in Telecommunication & Information Systems from Sichuan University, China in year 2006. His Ph.D. dissertation research work was supported by the Chinese national science foundation. After that, he finished his postdoctoral research work in Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. He is membership of Chinese Association for System Simulation.

His research interest: digital signal processing, digital image processing, patern recognition and classification.

Biography

Guofa Shou received the B.S. from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 2004 and the Ph.D.from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2009, both in Biomedical Engineering. From November 2007 to April 2008, he was a visiting scholar at the School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering, University of Queensland, Australia. From July 2008 to January 2009, he was a researcher at Philips Research Asia-Shanghai. After graduation, he finished a postdoctoral research work in Zhejiang University.He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

His research interests are cardiac imaging, MRI coil design, image reconstruction, Neuroimaging, independent component analysis/Blind source separation.

Min Zhu received her B. E. in Mathematics & Applied Mathematics and Master Degree from Zhejiang University, China.

Her research interest: signal processing of EEG/MEG; mathematical modeling of human brain; EEG/MEG inverse problem; MR image processing.

Deepika Dasari received her bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderbad,India. She received her masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University Of Oklahoma.

 

Her research interest: signal processing of EEG/MEG; MR image processing; EEG feature selection; classification.
