  Welcome!
Research in Lei Ding's Computational Imaging Laboratory is to design, develop, and establish the new generation of electrophysiological and functional imaging technologies through the advancement of computational methods, and to deal with their clinical evaluation and implementation in medical devices.

  Our Missions:

(I) to improve the efficacy of current medical evaluation of human diseases and develop new non-invasive diagnosis approach through applying advanced computational methods and modeling biological phenomena at the organ and/or system levels;

(II) to improve the capability of modern medical devices in probing biological signals limited by their physical specifications, such as size and requirement of portable design, through the integration of novel signal acquisition schemes and computational data analysis;

(III) to detect the fast neuron responses and recontruct their underlying neural substrates for advancing our understandings about the human brain through modeling and computational technologies.
