Active LD Pride Online Discussion Board  Must reregister.
Active Davis Dyslexia & Learning Discussion Board Commercial site. This is a big, and a bit cluttered, site.  Most of the boards center around the Davis Method.  However there are several good links out side of this.  It will take some time to look over all the rooms.  I know nothing about the Dvais method and am not endorsing the method.  I am only speaking for the discussion boards.
Active LD OnLine 14 discussion groups!
Active alt.support.dyslexia Though this is an "alt" group it is not apparently a "news" group.  It runs on a regular browser.
Active The International Dyslexia Association You will have to go to the board in the group you want.  But it is a good site anyway.
Down Learning Disabilities Part of Oprah.com.  (This Site is Gone now.  Anyone know where it went?)
Active Yahoo Groups Search on Dyslexia or other areas of interest.  Currently 33 dyslexia groups. Must reregister.
Active Levinson Medical Center for Learning Disabilities Forums Commercial site, Must reregister.
Active Dyslexia Advice Line and Discussion Board
NOT Active Boards  If these sites become active, or if I have wrongfully place one here let me know!
not too Active DYXI Commercial, Must reregister.
Not so Active Dyslexia Advice Line and Discussion Board for Teachers
Not Active Dyslexia The Dyslexia mail group is for the discussion of issues of particular concern to dyslexics. Particular attention will be given to computer tools which dyslexics find to be useful.

Active LD Pride Online Chat Room
Active?? Links to Go. This appears to be a real time chat room for dyslexia.  So its only active if some is there.

The Pages Listed Below are all run by the same few people.  They are all commercial sites mostly selling "at home dyslexia tests."  I do not know the validity of the test and they DO NOT offer any information as to the validity of the test, or whether or not the test is acceptable to your school.  They do list a bunch of happy emails from parents but no e-mails about weather or not the test was acceptable to schools.  The test may in fact actually do a good job assessing your child (thought its the first test I have ever heard of that PROVES you have dyslexia).  I have a hard time buying the notion that any school is going to accept the results of a mail ordered dyslexia test.  If you are planning to use this test to get accommodations from your school, check with the school first, other wise you might just be buying some snake oil.  There are several discussion boards, forums, send us your letter sections, etc... on their pages.  All are basically inactive.  They do appear to have one active discussion group at the bottom.  This may be the best test you will ever come across, but Ask Questions First!!
