I am engaged in a research project for
my doctoral dissertation. Compensated dyslexics are often able to
develop good reading comprehension skills, however, reading aloud remains
difficult. My study is investigating the cognitive mechanisms that
may enable compensatory reading strategies and the development of good
reading comprehension skills.
If this is you, or someone you know, please
help with this study.
Participants will be asked to do a variety
of things including read aloud, read silently, spell, and participate in
memory tasks.
