Aimee Franklin is a Presidential Professor and the Director of Programs in Public Administration in the Political Science Department at the University of Oklahoma. She teaches in the areas of strategic planning, budgeting and financial management, public policy and qualitative research methods. Her research interests and publications are currently in topics such as citizen participation in budgeting, Indian and commercial gaming expansion, and financial controls. Before returning to the academic world in the early 1990's, she ran retail and mortgage banking firms and was an analyst for three different Arizona governors.
