Being in between speaker and amp projects, I decided to build a cabinet to hold my LP's
Its made from solid Jatoba with 3 stained glass panels in the door.
The door frame is mortise & tenon. The legs angle out 6 degrees and
are mortise & tenon with dowel pins through the tenons.
I guess its sort of a psycho-deco-oriental style!
The top, sides, bottom and shelf are made from three boards glued
together. the joints are butt joints with dowels.
The finish is 4 coats of brushing laquer with 00 steel wool between coats
then a coat of trewax applied with 0000 steel wool
