My favorite
new artist is, by far, Yoshitomo Nara, pictured below. Nara paints,
draws and sculpts children, animals,
and children
dressed up like animals. I see in his work a sense of the moral outrage
of the powerless, and the resignation of the defenseless.
But then
again, what do I know, I'm a damn Economics Professor!!!!
