Dr. Kosmopoulou earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1996.
She held the position of visiting Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech from
1996 to 1997. She joined the University
of Oklahoma in August
of 1997. Her areas of specialization are in Theoretical and Applied
Microeconomics, Industrial Organization, Public Economics and Game Theory.
Professor Kosmopoulou’s current research
interests include issues in mechanism design, auction theory and
applications, public good theory, strategic pricing under incomplete
information and consumer theory.
