sF Myrmicinae Pheidole

This is a diverse group for which the ecology is poorly known. While taxonomy is often based on majors, the field biologist may never see them. This listing of currently known species is thus sorted by Weber's length of workers (WWL), the maximum length of the mesonotum from anterior pronotum to the posterior of propedum. WSI=Worker Scape index (worker scape length/worker head width*100). Consult the execellent work of Longino and Cover for more detail.
