Thaumatomyrmex are rare predators of the litter, and I have collected at least two species on BCI, including two species of male alates. Jack Longino's Thaumatomyrmex pages discusses their rather unresolved taxonomy--in part owing to their rarity.
Litter--Mandible with a small basal tooth, in addition to the three long tines; head width 1.29mm (n=1). See Jack's notes.
