Interests

Dr. Kang’s research interests encompass the field of structural earthquake engineering,
with a focus on structural dynamics, shake table tests, large-scale tests of reinforced,
prestressed, and post-tensioned concrete structures, as well as analytical/numerical modeling
and the development of design models and provisions.
