• Short Bio:

PhD (Purdue) • Professor Linn’s research and teaching interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, the behaviors of security prices and energy markets.

His research articles have been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting and Southern Economic Journal, among others.

Professor Linn is a member of the American Finance Association, the Western Finance Association and the Financial Management Association. He also holds the title of Visiting Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, and Research Associate in the New Zealand Institute for the Study of Competition and Regulation, Wellington, NZ.
