I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 2004. I taught for two years at the College of William & Mary, and am currently in my third year at the University of Oklahoma.

My primary research and teaching interests include:

·         International Security

·         Terrorism and Political Violence

·         US Foreign Policy

·         Military History

·         International Relations Theory

I also created and direct the Summer Workshop on Teaching about Terrorism (SWOTT).  Go to http://www.swott.com or click the SWOTT logo on the left for information about previous workshops (2005-2008), as well as future workshops once they are announced.  We will post information about SWOTT '09 on the website as soon as we have dates and locations confirmed.
