Anthony Natale, MSW, PhD is a graduate of the PhD program at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Washington State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University.
Dr. Natale holds experience in community practice in the areas of corrections, and youth advocacy. In addition, he holds experience in direct clinical practice with children, adults and families experiencing a mental health crisis, as well as occupational social work.
Dr. Natale's academic interests include social policy, public health, international social work and HIV/AIDS. His research interests include developing community capacity to address the transmission of HIV/AIDS. He completed his dissertation research entitled - Sex and Culture: A mixed methods study of Denver MSM in the third decade of AIDS. The project is funded in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Dr. Natale was a previous instructor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. He currently teaches in the School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma including courses in administrative and community practice and human service organization program evaluation.
