Internet Sources List

One of the information sources that I’d like you to explore a bit along with your assigned reading are internet sites that either go deeper into some of the issues raised in the books, or else broaden out the discussion to issues that are related, either directly or indirectly. I also hope that this set of assignments will help to get you thinking about the range of topics to choose from, and what possible sources may be available to you as you think about what topic to pick for your term paper and how to research it.

The way the assignment will work is this: For each cluster, choose one site to examine in some detail, following the links in whatever way interests you. Then write up a brief report (of 1-2 pp., approx. 300-600 words, graded S/U) about the site, pointing to what themes, content, perspectives, etc. that you found to be particularly noteworthy or interesting. This brief report will be the basis for your small group discussions on the cluster sites, and is due on the day for which the discussion is scheduled on the syllabus.
