The Oklahoma Music Theory Round Table is the oldest existing professional society for music theorists. The group, whose membership consists of teachers and students of music theory at the college level from throughout Oklahoma, meets yearly at one of the colleges or universities in the state, usually in late September or early October.

On October 2, 2009, East Central University hosted the meeting in their brand-new Fine Arts Center. Our thanks go out to Prof. Skye Garcia for all he did to organize the meeting.

In 2010, the group will meet at Oklahoma Baptist University. In 2011, the group will meet at the University of Tulsa.
