Introduction.
My name is David Tan. I am currently the Interim Department Chair, Associate Professor (tenured), and Graduate College Liaison in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Oklahoma. I was the Program Area Coordinator
of the Adult and Higher Education program (EDAH) in the department from 1997 to 2004. Our EDAH
program offers the Master of Education (M.Ed.) and the Doctor of Philosophy
(Ph.D.) degrees. The field of Adult and Higher Education has many exciting specialties,
which include adult and continuing education, training and development, continuing
professional education, distributive learning, student personnel administration,
intercollegiate athletics administration, community college administration,
institutional research, and higher education administration. If you are interested

Due to the renovation of Collings Hall, we are temporarily housed in Room 211 on the South Campus Building 4 located at 555 E. Constitution Street, next to the OU golf course.
Specialization.
My area of focus is higher education administration, particularly in the areas
of strategic planning, institutional research, leadership, organizational behavior,
finance, college students, and research methodology. If you are registered for

Service. I am also the Director of the statewide consortium-based
Center for Student Affairs Research (CSAR)
