Mary Everley
1993

Dissertation: Presidential Change: Interim Administrations in Higher Education (co-chaired with Prof. J.R. Morris)

Dr. Everley is the Director of the Relocation Assistance Program at the University of Minnesota.

John Barker
1994

Dissertation: Selected Factors Related to Academic Achievement of Developmental Introductory Algebra Students at the Two-Year College Level.

Dr. Barker was formerly a professor of mathematics at Oklahoma City Community College and the former President of the Oklahoma Association for Institutional Research and Planning. He is currently in private practice.

Theresa Bragg
1994

Dissertation: A Study of the Relationship Between Adjustment to College and Freshman Retention.

Dr. Bragg worked in the OU Office of Institutional Research for many years before she became an Assistant Principal at the All Saints Catholic School in Norman.

Ruth Ann Dreyer
1995

Dissertation: An Exploratory Study of Variables Related to Attitude Toward Property Tax Increases Supporting Community Colleges (co-chaired with Prof. J.R. Morris).

Dr. Dreyer is retired from her position as Vice Chancellor for Administration and Board Relations at the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education in Oklahoma City.

Ricky Streight
1996

Dissertation: Characteristics that Deter Two-Year Students from Transferring to Four-Year Institutions.

Dr. Streight is Dean of Academic Affairs at Ivy Tech State College in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is also on the faculty of the US Army War College.

Cathy Stewart
1996

Dissertation: A Study of Faculty Attitudes About Teaching Developmental Courses in Oklahoma's Two-Year Colleges.

Dr. Stewart is Science Instructor in the McCurtain County Higher Education Program at Carl Albert State College, Oklahoma.

Ron Ryan
1997

Dissertation: Relationships of Donor Motivations and Characteristics to Donations to Higher Education.

Dr. Ryan is Associate Professor of Business Administration at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.

Juanita Johnson
1998

Dissertation: Professional Commitment and Socialization on Intent to Persist.

Dr. Johnson is Associate Professor of Nursing at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.

Victoria Dansby
1998

Dissertation: An Assessment of Student Attitudes Before and After Exposure to Movement Education.

Dr. Dansby is currently Associate Professor of Dance at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Steve Turner
1998

Dissertation: Student Perceptions of Campus Crime and Campus Involvement (co-chaired with Prof. Rosa Cintron).

Dr. Turner is the 19th President of Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Charlotte French
2001

Dissertation: Teacher-Centered Instructional Change in Two-Year Colleges.

Dr. French is retired from her position as the Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Oklahoma City Community College.

Chris Cobb

Dissertation: The Concept of Brand Identity in Relation to Students' Intent-to-Persist.

Dr. Cobb is a higher education administrator and currently teaches business and marketing.

Marcia Bennett

Dissertation: Alterations to Faculty Compensation Structures at Midwest Medical Schools (co-chaired with Prof. Jerome Weber).

Dr. Bennett is the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Health Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.

Diana Boyd McElroy

Dr. McElroy is the Dean of Student Life at Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

Pamela Davenport
