Lecture Notes
-
Throughout the term I will post the lecture notes for each class.
The notes also link to some "handouts" that I will show during class.
-
For each unit there is a page in this web site that contains all that unit's
lecture notes, along with an outline of topics covered in that unit.
The topics listed in the outline are linked to the notes for the class
where that topic is covered.
-
You can go directly to the notes for a given class from the appropriate
date on the Schedule page. You can link to some of the handouts from
the Reading assignments page, or directly from any exercise that involves
them.
-
Or, you can see all the notes for a unit by clicking on the appropriate
color-coded button below.
-
You should use the set of notes for each unit as you study for the unit
exam, and for the final exam. The notes deal with the topics given
in the unit overviews (and course Outline)--to
study, focus on how the notes present the ideas listed in the topics.
-
You are welcome to print out the notes to read at your convenience.
If you do, set the margins to .50" top and bottom, left and right.
To do this, go to the File menu on your browser, select Page Setup, and
enter .50" for the margins.

Use these buttons to link to the notes for each unit:
