My name is Heather Galbraith and I am currently working on my PhD at the University of Oklahoma in Caryn Vaughn’s laboratory. I received my bacherlor’s degree at Juniata College in central Pennsylvania where my research focused on life history traits in isopod and amphipod crustaceans. I received my MS in Zoology in December 2004 from OU. My thesis examined environmental variables important in structuring trichopteran (caddisfly) communities in several streams in southeastern Oklahoma. My PhD work is examining reproductive biology and speciation processes in freshwater mussels. |
