Ahmadiyya

Heterodox Muslim sect, emerged in India in the nineteenth century, and proselytized in Europe and America. Identifies Christianity as the Dajjal. Qadianis preserve traditional doctrine, and consider Mira Ghulam (1835-1908) to be a prophet. Lahorites, [initially] led by Mawlana Muhammad 'Ali [who produced a widely distributed English translation of the Qur'ân], are less heterodox.
