A prolific Egyptian scholar who wrote on virtually all fields of Islamic thought, including the Qur'anic sciences, tafsir, hadith, fiqh, and usul al-fiqh. He was one of the two Jalals who wrote the "Commentary of the Two Jalals." He is not remembered for modesty.
